Northern Ireland Tourist Board
Northern Ireland's enduring appeal is enhanced by having such an eye-opening variety of things to see, from world-renowned natural wonders and superb visitor attractions to historic towns and villages just waiting for you to discover them.
To the frequent amazement of overseas visitors, all the best things are within a short scenic drive of one another. In a country just 85 miles long and 70 miles wide you could drive on our uncrowded roads from the surf-washed Atlantic beaches of the Causeway Coast & Glens, through Belfast and on to the seaside resorts of the Kingdoms of Down, in just two or three hours. And you could travel from the City of Derry through the Sperrins to the Fermanagh Lakeland in even less time.
But what's the hurry? You're going to be here on holiday, so take it slowly and enjoy some of the visitor attractions along the way. The diversity of what's in store for you is astonishing, from new attractions like the W5 Discovery Centre at Belfast's Odyssey Complex to old favourites like Barry's Amusements in Portrush, Bangor's Pickie Family Fun Park and the Marble Arch Caves in Fermanagh. From our National Museums and Galleries to family-owned Open Farms, community-run Heritage Centres and commercial entertainment complexes, the range is vast.
